Tiina Manne examines past subsistence economies to understand human-animal relationships and how people responded to large-scale climate and environmental change. Her research focuses on Australia and New Guinea and encompasses sites from 100 years ago through to +50, 000 years ago. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.
